CREATIVE LEISURE PRESENTS Virtual FAM – AN E-NEWSLETTER
Featuring Real FAM Reports from Travel Experts

PETALUMA, CA (May 28, 2008) — Creative Leisure, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, has launched a new email campaign focusing on educating agents about the properties and destinations it offers. Virtual FAM, a monthly newsletter distributed via email, offers first-hand reports from the many trips Creative Leisure Travel Specialists take over the course of the year to inspect a wide range of luxury resorts and villas. Modeled after a Villa FAM newsletter published by Creative Leisure's sister company Villas of Distinction, this regular report introduces agents to resorts they have not had the opportunity to visit or, if they are familiar with the property, it informs them of the newest accommodations, features, and services.

"As a tour operator, it's important that our in-house reservations agents travel on FAM trips frequently so they have first-hand knowledge of the resorts, villas, and destinations we represent," says Joanne Wick, Customer Service Manager and 12-year veteran of Creative Leisure. "Since they follow up these trips by writing reports with opinions, tips, and recommendations about the properties they visited, it only made sense to share this wealth of information with our agent base."

Virtual FAM arrives on the heels of significant growth to Creative Leisure's property portfolio. In the past year alone, Creative Leisure has increased its resort offerings by 30%, paving the way for a full FAM schedule for the foreseeable future.

"With so many new properties, we're finding the need to send our agents on FAMs more often than in the past," said Patti Mason, Creative Leisure's Product Contract Manager for 22 years. "By communicating these experiences in a newsletter format, our external agents are able to virtually shadow us as we visit the new properties. This, in turn, can help them feel more comfortable recommending specific resorts to their customers."

The inaugural edition of Creative Leisure's Virtual FAM, which takes agents to the Grace Bay Beach area of Turks & Caicos, is now available online.
